I love serving the @sbagov community here in Seattle. Today I taught a Fire Up! workshop on how to define and share a compelling brand/story to attract ideal clients. I shared tips on how to take time to embrace your authentic self so you no longer “fear competition”! . After the workshop, one of the entrepreneurs in the room stopped me on my way out to thank you. She shared that she couldn’t wait to get home and put her niche statement together and was excited to fill her #soultank with the fun list she had written! Another told me she has never been more excited about starting her business. Another gal saw me on the sidewalk and said: “the way you present yourself, the words you use, and the (sassy) look you have is an excellent example of what you teach. Thank you for being authentic and so passionate about helping us.” THESE. COMMENTS. TOUCHED. MY. SOUL. I got in the car and started to cry. Last night I met @jenhatmaker! ❤️🔥🙌🏻 My #soultank is overflowing. She was in town for her #MoxieMatters Tour w/ the divine @nicholenordeman... Friends, I will never be the same. Ever. The vulnerability level was at an 11. We laughed. We cried. We sang. We hugged. We worshipped with our entire bodies and souls. It was such a blessing to hear her snd Nichole share their stories of pain, healing, and redemption. Jen’s heartbreak inside the Christian community has so many parallels to what @iamcill & I have walked thru with @aprilbriggs44. Jen inspired us to embrace pain as our friend, not our foe. She reminded us to tell our tribe when we need to be in the protected, sacred middle and inspired us to be ready for when WE need to step into position when our friends call us into formation around them. 🐘It was magical.🐘 I love how God wastes nothing. He created us to be resilient, to step into and learn from pain, and to ultimately rise from the ashes. Stronger. Wiser. More resilient.
