As someone who works in a library I want to put Simon Blackquill in a situation where he has to work in a library SO BADLY because he would hate it

If I had time and a more reliable brain I would write a Blackmahdi fanfiction of grumpy Librarian Simon and regular Nahyuta who pisses him tf off with ten thousand new requests and questions for each new rabbit hole

I love working in the library so much. I love working in a place where I don't have to sell anyone anything. I love to chat with people and especially with the children. I love helping people with finding books or printing stuff out. I love when people tell us about how the library is their favorite place to study or work. I love seeing teens just using the chill out corner to sit and listen to music. I love helping older folks with their e-readers or directing them to our senior smartphone courses.

The amount of times people ask me if I work as a volunteer at the library is crazy btw. First of all, do you think I, at 23, have the money and time to just be at the library at 8am on a Wednesday. Also people ALWAYS ask this because in their heads, working at the library just isn't work. A lot of people genuinely assume that library workers just read and drink coffee all day. And then they are surprised to hear about the work that goes into running a library, organising events etc.

Playing Life is Strange myself the first time after only having watched Let's Plays and in Episode 2, during the train track scene, when Chloe says "I'm not mad. It adds up in my head as people letting me down" I felt that to my core.

Chloe is very hated, but as someone with bpd (or at least a bpd-adjacent disorder) I just see her as someone who desperately needs help and never learned how to deal with her issues in a healthy way. She's just a perfect portrayal of someone with Border Personality Disorder I think. Not that I wanna every single thing she does, but damn is she relatable

Funnest thing I did this year was forcing my grandma to join me in my Good Omens brainrot. She has Amazon Prime and I don't, so I made her watch the show with me. Then I got her the book. Everytime we see David Tennant or Michael Sheen in anything else I will point it out. I make her listen to my every thought on Good Omens. Just my 63 year old grandma forced to deal with my interests

For real tho, Nao's and Mishima's bond was soooo good. I relate so much to Nao, because I too value my former homeroom teacher over most things and get hella defensive when people talk trash about him
