Can anybody who works or has worked in a library give me some advice? I put in 2 applications for Library Assistant positions in my area, one location which I’ve now applied to 4 times over the years and gotten 2 interviews, but I’ve never gotten the job. Is there something that’ll make me sound good in the interview? Something I should say or ask? Literally any advice is welcome, I’ve just always wanted to work at the library

I love working in the library so much. I love working in a place where I don't have to sell anyone anything. I love to chat with people and especially with the children. I love helping people with finding books or printing stuff out. I love when people tell us about how the library is their favorite place to study or work. I love seeing teens just using the chill out corner to sit and listen to music. I love helping older folks with their e-readers or directing them to our senior smartphone courses.
