Sonic ran like the devil was at his pursuit. He ran down the castle’s floor and out. Finally to the docking bay. He stopped with a screech of his shoes and glanced down to Solren whom seemed to be holding something quite heavy.
"Watcha got there Sonny?" Sonic inquired the child. "A car Battarey… Maybe we could shap the fiffshhies?"
Sonic has some trouble translating what the kid was trying to say in his head, but finally replied with a nervous chuckle. “Mommy’s already onto us for the kite. We’ll just bring some cords today… it’ll be fun, I promise”
"Okay" The small cat said before dropping the heavy thing on his father’s foot. Which caused him to shout out of surprise and well… pain. "Argh!! ghnf!" He brought a knuckle to his teeth and bit his glove.
"Shorry…." He kid said with folded ears.
"Ghnnn s’fine…" Sonic said in a very quiet tone as he pushed the heavy car battery off of his foot. "I’ll walk it off. Your dad’s invincible after all." He winked to the kid. Finally, Dashel came to join the two.
"Great timing, Captain Dash. So is t’coast clear?"
"Ya'huh! Mama's headin' t' the library. Pa, I still got da' Kite —"
The young hedgehog looked over at her brother
before gently crossing her arms. If he hadn't mentioned
the boat ride to Mama, then they would have been able
to do the Kite riding.
"Sol, how come you talk'd t' Mama about the boat ride?"
