Many moons ago after I left the FBI but before I started doing my own parties I worked at and then managed a club called The Sound Factory..

Ever heard of it?

I got to work with geniuses on all levels.. my main responsibilities dealt with counting money, paying people, coming up with the wording for an ideas for flyers, marketing strategies and writing and reading the outgoing voicemail that we called "The Sound Factory Information Line"

Years later I found out that somebody took a recording of the outgoing voicemail and made a record 🤣

#Flashback - Sound Factory.. X-ing and Z-ing cash registers all around the club, balancing drawers, handling payouts, counting around $60,000 at 5am every Sat Night/Sunday Morn..

Counting anything aftet 4:00 a.m. will make you sleepy. I guess that's why people count sheep when they can't fall asleep.. just the process of counting makes you sleepy.

But you can't let sleep interfere when you have to make a several stack of 100 of every 1,5,10,20,50 and 100 dollar bill, all turned the exact same way.

When you're counting a stack, sleepiness will make you start all over again just to make sure you're right.

And after you're all done the total you counted doesn't match up with the totals the registers calculated, you have to go back and recount each stack to make sure you didn't make a counting error.. maybe that's why they call it "accounting" 🤣
