was too fucking amazing. It was such a different setting than what I'm used to. Being so close to all these artists, especially the speakers was mind blowing. Everyone was there to celebrate this music and I just got chills and great vibes coming from everyone. My favorite performances were probably Brother Ali, PROF definitely, that dude had a crazy performance. P.O.S was crazy tight too. Everyone did a great job. Granted, it was my first concert, I enjoyed every second of it.
I'll never forget the second Sean walked up on stage when they yelled out, "Give it up for Atmosphere!" I couldn't believe I was so close to him, the man that saved me from so many hours of loneliness with his music, the one that comforted me in tears, made me laugh with his rhymes and made me feel shit I never knew I could experience. Seeing him in person brought tears to my eyes, I held them in and my face hurt from smiling. He performed a new song, firstly, which will be on his album he's dropping next year. I can't fucking wait for that, it was too good.I remember rapping along with Slug the entire time, and this chick in front of me was like "this girl's got it, she knows whats up!" Ahhhh.
I promised Bobby last summer I would see atmosphere in concert with him. And I did. I'm glad I got to travel, it was worth it.
Atmosphere is coming to Omaha in August-ish. Maybe I'll get to have a one on one with Slug and Ant.
