"what song am i" submissions are on pause for the time being as I have a bit of a backlog to work through due to my irl shenanigans twt

(notice: "what song is my blog" asks are typically a bit more surface-level!! i try to assign something based mainly on how your blog looks, any intro posts/bio, and how you type,,, they're a fun challenge for me and typically i do p good but please don't take offense if it feels a bit inaccurate !!)

A little in common between Goemon and DBZ...
As a Ganbare Goemon diehard AND a Dragon Ball Z fan I’m ashamed to say I never knew this... After a discussion on Reddit, the user “RetrogamerMax” informed me the same person who sang the Japanese open for DBZ sang the opening of Goemon 64! AHHHH! as soon as he said it I was like... of course! I could hear it in my head! for comparison the Goemon theme is above and here is the DBZ opening:

AMAZING!
PS: if you want to know just how hard of a diehard I am for Goemon here’s a start:

PAC-MAN Tamagotchi Sound Test Discovered
A Tamagotchi fan who was able to get their hands on the PAC-MAN Tamagotchi mistaken came across a hidden feature of the device, but isn’t quite sure how they got there. The user was attempting to pause their Tamagotchi but was using the A and C button combo, which of course does prompt the sound on/sound off function. Instead of being able to turn on or off the sound, the user was brought to a sound test screen that feature 24 different sounds that they were able to test!
These sounds are the various PAC-MAN themed sounds featured on the device throughout normal play. This is presumably a feature Bandai has in the firmware for testing purposes. However the user does not recall exactly how to access the sound test screen, so if you’re lucky enough to get to it please let us know!
