This is a prime example of what I gravitate towards. In the "Fiber: Sculpture 1960-present" textile exhibit at the ICA Boston last month I had sensory overload. The textures, materials, and movement of the pieces were beautiful. This piece by Ernesto Neto blew me away. I knew I wanted to photograph it but not the entire piece, only a nugget that spoke to me. I was not surprised that it was the shadow on the floor. I was drawn to the shape and texture of the small metal bells and the seed pods that mirrored each other on the floor.
