i use multiple softwares to keep it fun and cool ^_^ i mainly use discord whiteboard, kleki.com, and krita :3

discord whiteboard is... pretty crappy but its easy to pull up during voice calls to draw with frens but one thing i like about it is being able to adjust ur strokes since its vector-based, so you can resize, recolor, rotate, relayer, etc each line you make. but then again its a discord activity thing so dont expect too much from it X3

kleki.com is a free browser drawing software thingie so its also easy to pull up compared to apps that still have to go thru a startup process. its UI is also pretty clean! buuut at the cost of not having some features other drawing programs may have. been using this thing since 2020 n they frequently update their tools n stuff :D do note the canvas size limit of 2048x2048 and layer limit of 16 layers. much better program for simpler things like pixel art and illustrations w flat colors

krita is a ver cool free drawing app n i use it on my crusty little laptop :P the UI takes a little while to get used to since it has a buuncha functions n tools n stuff ! which r Super fun to play around with ^_^ lots of brushes and u can customize your brushes too :0 it has animation tools so thats what i used for my silly moon knight gifs but u need to download this thing called ffmpeg for it but iz relatively easy to set up. i dont have a bunch to say abt krita since i dont use it too often but krita is a great program if you're really into more detailed art and use alot of effects and layers
