For a long time, Stiles wondered exactly how he would get into a situation that would cause his soulmate to say those words. As he got older, he decided that he couldn’t just wait for the moment to happen, and tried to instigate it himself. Stiles got in trouble a lot as a kid, sneaking around and trespassing wherever he could. However, no one ever said those fateful words. He had heard a variation of them though.
Get the hell off my property!

Time passed, and Stiles began to worry that he’d never meet his soulmate. Everyone else was meeting their soulmates. He had hoped his soulmate would be Lydia, but her first words to him were ‘Do I know you?’. For a while, he had felt okay about it. Scott hadn’t met his soulmate either, but then Allison happened.
Stiles had never felt more alone.
But then, he and Scott had gone searching for Scott’s inhaler, and some guy had suddenly come out of nowhere and spoken the magical words that sent Stiles’ heart into overdrive.
