It had appeared as though, amidst the current investigation into the identity of the mass killer, Kira, that somehow L found himself not in the remote building he’d had built solely for the investigation team, but rather in a small hotel room with no equipment or anything that would enable the investigator to further progress on the Kira case— not that he wasn’t already fairly confident as to where it was going.
ຮtrange, to say the least. As he tried to recall what his thought process at the time of the decision to change locations, he found himself unable. However, there was one thing that was still a constant: the person attached to his right side by a sturdy metal chain and cuffs. ƈorrect; he had placed the university male under 24/7 surveillance due to his own suspicions about the other’s correlation to the case, thus it only natural that if L went somewhere, the brunet did as well, and vice versa.

The first contained what appeared to be a simple greeting from an “Aries and Stella”, explaining without giving any actual information, the reader’s current situation. The second, explaining a job assignment. Tennis Instructor. While it was not a lie that L had won a tennis championship when he lived in England as a child, he would not have placed himself in such a position, unless it was part of an investigation. Taking into ƈonsideration that he could not recall exactly when or why he had decided to come to “Stella City”, L mentally noted that perhaps the tennis aspect was part of what he could not remember.
❝It appears as though you have received similar letters, Light.❞ Giving his companion nothing more than an upward glance from his position in one of the room’s chairs, ❝If I may, what are your thoughts on the matter.❞
