Creek Road Eleven - Springtime
Creek Road Eleven is a Finnish Southern-spiced country rock band originating from the Helsinki area. Formed in 2014, the band came together when Toni Ruuska, who had a collection of new original songs, found a like-minded guitarist in Jyrki Levä from Helsinki. Levä brought his guitar skills, harmony vocals, and some of his own original compositions to the group.
The band solidified its lineup with the addition of Jani Miinala on drums, known for his hard-hitting and steady beat, and Pete Christiansson on bass, who contributed killer grooves and inventive bass lines. Later, Petri Frestadius joined on keyboards and vocals, adding another layer to their sound.
The band's albums, have been very well received with many great reviews. Songs have gotten air time on radio stations in Finland and around the world. In the 2017 music critic poll of Blues News magazine THE LONG HARVEST reached the top 3 in the new album category.
They have successfully played numerous gigs at clubs and festivals since 2015, including Puistoblues, Haltiala Hayride, Raikku rokkaa, Roots 'n Boots, Super Rally, to name a few. The band also made an appearance on Vintage Valtakunta, a TV series on the national Finnish channel Yle TV 1.
