Manuka honey 🍯 Producing by introduced European honey bees foraging on the manuka tea tree which grows uncultivated throughout New Zealand and southeastern Australia. The honey is commonly sold as an alternative medicine. While a component found in manuka honey has antibacterial properties in vitro. 2012 Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon (South Eastern Australia)

2012 Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoyed lakeside w/grilled chicken, asparagus and oriental cabbage salad.

Smell: Blueberries and stone fruit (cherry w/a little apricot) dominate. Secondary notes of vanilla and cocoa that hint of an oak influence. 

Taste: The aroma gives foreplay to a very enjoyable wine. Acidity was low and tannins were surprisingly smooth for this Cabernet which added extra interest that kept me drinking it the rest of the night.

Overall: The engineering that goes into a Yellow Tail can not be denied. this wine tastes great. I'd definitely serve this at my next party or recommend it to a friend.  Can be bought almost anywhere for under $10.
