Tonight I am exhausted
so tired that I don't feel like sleeping. Working from my bedroom during COVID-19 is a little too easy with no other pressing matters to beckon me away.
While I am sometimes conflicted about working double the time I will be paid for, I know that I don't work for money, I work because I want to do my bit to hold the company together through this rough time.
We are not in life alone, we are not in anything alone, there is always someone who has your back, whether you know them or not, whether you see them or not, whether you believe it or not.
Tonight as I lie here, the owl (who showed up here at home not long after my Father died over a year ago) is calling his gentle call. I said thank you to him as I know he will sing me to sleep with his quiet mopoke call. Our Southern Boobook Owl, thank you for reminding me that no-one is entirely alone.
