No, he was introduced to it in the trenches and the depression following the cruel war. Jon showed the cruelty of the world on his skin, even if some of the scars were from pets. They were enemies, yet they were both men doing what they had to do. Not fighting the sudden urge, Wilhelm gave Jon's hand a gentle squeeze before letting him go. For once, his big mouth kept closed: what was there to say? To ask? If he pushed on, it would be considered rude. Yet...he couldn't simply shrug it off. "I...apologize that you had to face so much at a young age."

“Bit busy right now.” He spoke after several seconds of ignoring the other in favor of keeping his focus on tinkering with the engine.

“Hand me that socket wrench? The blue handle, seven sixteenths-” He added, pointing in general towards the table full of tools. That cut had gone clean through the leather of his jacket and into flesh, at least an hour ago, but he was just powering through it. He was focused on getting his job done, god damn it.

Smirking, Sam leant against the table and handed over the wrench, not looking away from the man’s arm. When sustenance was so readily available, Sam had become picky, drinking from only those who caught his eye. He wasn’t one to let choice prey get away. 

“You’ll get it infected,” he commented, casual as ever. “Won’t be pleasant, especially with our resources. Could kill you off completely.” Yawning, Sam let his eyes drift to the horizon, watching the last rays of sunlight disappear below that perfect line. A sense of calm washed over him as the moon took its place, a hypnotic smile tugging at his lips. “Come on, dear. Let’s get you fixed up.”
