Family time in Orangeburg. Yesterday, Tony and I joined my brother Reggie and his family during their spring break visit to Orangeburg. We spent the day with Mom and Dad, and were later joined by more family. We took shrimp and whiting from here to share. We had a great Friday night supper of fried whiting, hush puppies, Cole slaw, and a Lowcountry boil a.k.a. Frogmore Stew. Our cousins from Cameron, Okarita, Edith and Jerome came over and Aunt Lillie. There was great fellowship and food in almost every room.(Glovers, Watsons, Jenkins, Jones Families) Moorer/Glover descendents. @amjones42 @meagansmiles @reinacandace @jomcali #familytime #lowcountryboil #shrimp #whitingfish #ancestors #cameronsouthcarolina #orangeburgsc #ruralliving #southerneating #southernfoodways #lowcountryfood #gullahfamily #gullahgeechee #gullahgastronomy #strongfamilies #blackfamilylife #bloodlines #scmidlands #orangeburgcounty #calhouncounty
