the way yall talk about southerners is exactly why i don’t go into activist spaces. literally saw people saying that iran should just bomb the south cause “that’s where the trump supporters are”. literally fuck all of you. we have absolutely nothing down here. we get zero help for natural disasters, our roads are fucked, the land is being destroyed and stolen. farmers have less than nothing. no one thinks about us.

no one thinks about WHY our education sucks. they blame us. no one thinks about how scared people of color are to vote. they blame us. no one talks about the thousands of people down here fighting to make the south better. they use as the butt of jokes cause we are nothing to them.

anyways, i love the south. i love being here. and i’m sick of people acting like this place is some hell hole of trump supporters.
