Aladdin Full Pantomime HD... Originally, pantomimes were comical mime shows put on as light relief after a serious play. But in the nineteenth century, when fairy tales became popular subjects for pantomimes, they developed into full length shows featuring speciality acts as part of the fun. Aladdin (first told in “The Book of the thousand and one nights”) was the first pantomime of this kind to become popular on the stage in England.
