Attention POI Fanfic Writers

This is especially for ShoetingStar and PiscesToo, I had a random thought with an idea for a fic. Since I am feigning for some badass Joss Carter and preferably w/out "the boys", I thought wait a sec..........

I mentioned previously how it would be dope if POI and Southland collided just for the selfishness of wanting to see Joss Carter and Lydia Adams on screen doing what they do best. So then I was like wait.....what if Joss and Lydia were old homies and partners from the Army days? They still keep in touch every now and then, but not often b/c of their careers and kids.

So Joss gets a call from Lydia or a captain of the South Central force asking for her assistance on some super serial killer mystery case and tells her she was recommended and have impressive credentials. And of course Joss accepts and throw deuces like it ain't nothing b/c anything to get away from the recent f*ckery of her life right? Not to mention, it would be a redeeming effort after that bs call with FBI (oh and it's still EFF Beecher).

So our beloved Det. is off to Cali, on an exciting case and with her old roll dog, and who knows, maybe throw Joanna LaCosta in there too! The catch is that the duo wouldn't know about it until she's WAYYY out of there and would actually get word from Fusco b/c of course he's going to be aware of his partner absence from her and she will tell him to NOT mention anything to them and just for him to tell them contact him for dealings b/c she's "unavailable" at the moment. And of course they find out the real.

And then the fun begins! Team Machine finding out about the dangerous case, Carter, Adams. and LaCosta turning ish up and catching up,personal lives and all(of course there will be mentions of "the man in the suit") the details of the case, the three female bad asses not giving an eff and still handling biz, and of course the other three worried, pissed, concerned, and scared sh*tless for their lovely Det!

I mean just think about the possibilities! This could be an EPIC read if done right! So POI, Southland, Deception writers, or all three get on it! Please I beg you!!!! I'm a reader, I leave writing to the experts, but ideas is a specialty. I just need this to come to fruition, lawwwwddddd my feels lajgjaklkjolk!!!!

oh and for real.... I just want more Carter backstory or story period. I mean I'm dying with more of anything at this point. Fusco, Lee, Fusco's ex, and where in the hell is Taylor? Did he start boarding school or something?! I mean I'm just saying.....so more personal character story and development besides Finch and Reese would be nice! Eff and Sh*t already, in that order.
