               A BLINK OF THE GREEN GUARDIAN TURQUOISE ORBS IS EVIDENT. The pain will be always be there, indeed. It is part of their duty as guardians to deal with it; and every single one of them have their own way of process. When you become A STAR GUARDIAN, it doesn‘t come with some sort of MANUAL where it teaches you what to do in every situation; it doesn‘t come with lessons about how to battle against the darkness. Sometimes they need to deal with things together like A TEAM should do, but there are also times where they need to face things alone; a battle against their own heart, but it‘s necessary. For what is A STRONG HEART; a strong LIGHT is made of if not from several battles ? ❝ It will be, you know that. However---- what are you going to do about it ? ❞ Because is not the pain itself that matters, but HOW do you deal with it.

He lies with his hands behind his head, sharing a pillow with Syndra and watching the light from a candle flicker along the ceiling. He feels the warmth of her palm against his sweat-slicked face, how it juxtaposes with the coolness of the evaporating moisture. It sends a small tingle down his side.

“I know you would reshape the land in your own image. It will look nothing like it was when you first beheld it.”

Zed moves a hand over to smooth her hair, fingers losing themselves in her white locks. A small thought breaks through his idleness, like a ripple on the water’s surface.

“Do you want everything to change?”
