Jonathan (the almost 13 yr old) went roller skating at a fancy skating center with his grandfather on Friday night and... fell.
E.R. x-rays said it was a sprain with potential fracture in the ankle but they weren't sure. Soft splint. No nothing else.
Days of pain and massive swelling later...
Today, I took him to the pediatric orthopedic surgeon, and she diagnosed a broken tibia. So... he's now in a full leg cast (knee down) for 4 weeks. X-rays at 2 weeks, boot after a month, Yada Yada.
Also, my grandfather is home on hospice and full oxygen.
Also, it's christmas week and the entire family is coming to my house but of course they can't be around each other so we are doing separate Christmases Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. All at my house. All with me cooking. So Beka b cleaning.
Also... I'm exhausted and I love and miss you all 💖💖
