• While he smells different depending on wherever he visits, Sonic's scent mostly consists of lemon. You'll find that many of your belongings have began to smell more... tangy as of recent with each of his visits, whether it's pre-relationship or when it's established. When you mention it, he shrugs it off as if he's not the culprit. If you catch him in the act he'll freeze up like a deer in headlights and quickly scramble to make up excuses, saying that it was merely to keep 'the wrong kinda company' away. (That's like putting a target on our backs, you dummy,,,)

"What am I doing..? Uhm-- just checking out the details on this blanket..? Wow is that ... detergent? Smells different. Did you get a new brand..? (Actively shitting bricks)

• Silver can be incredibly possessive of his partner being around other hedgehogs if he deems someone gets to close to you. He'll either use his telekinesis to command grab you back to his side or walk over then grab your hand firmly, but not without glaring daggers at whoever it is you were talking to. No bashful squeaking, no beating around the bush with that whole shy act, just

"Yeah, your time's up I'm taking this with me."

• Shadow's not good with physical contact, he's more of a quality time kinda hog. It's not that he dislikes his partner's touch, he's just very unfamiliar with it. If you hug him he'll be as stiff as a board and will stare at the ground silently until you're done. Then probably scold you with a huff.

"Are you trying to get a black eye..?Don't do that again. Ask next time."

Shadow with a pregnant! Reader who let's him touch their bump

And knowing Shadow, he's hesitant because he's been told by Amy and Rouge, even Vanilla that pregnancy can be unpredictable, especially for a Mobian. And you're in a state where anything minor can trigger your more vulnerable emotions due to hormones.

While he doesn't fully understand the concept of pregnancy, he's also very nervous about making contact with you in this stage.

What if he accidentally hurts you? What if you get uncomfortable and become upset? What if your baby becomes an alien just from Shadow's touch alone and eats it's way out of your stomach???

okay that last one is stupid and he'll have to remember to bash his own head in for even thing that. (curse you Sonic and your dumb movie marathon...)

Eventually, you would get the hint from his stiffness and carefully take his hand in yours, snapping him out of it.

You can't help but see a frightened dog when he looks at you with his down turned eyes of vermilion.

Slowly, you lift his hand to your belly and feel him slowly relax. He hadn't even realized he was holding his breath in his silent panic.

Then, that sudden kick nearly makes him jump out of his skin.

You don't think you've ever seen his eyes this wide before as he stares at your stomach as if it had cursed his lineage, then his eyes look to you for answers.

You explain that in the later stages before birth, the baby begins to move around, mostly kicking against the womb. Shadow just blinks, processing the given information.

Good luck getting him off you cuz he's not letting go the moment he makes contact with you (his grip is crazy strong,,,, he's like a face hugger if it was cuter but suffered from malnourishment)

He somehow always ends up falling asleep on you, whether it's his head on your lap or his muzzle buried into your neck, whenever you call for him he's practically hibernating because of your warmth. You and Amy are the only two people (that aren't Blaze) that he feels comfortable with enough to fall asleep around, and when he does, he'll go into a deep sleep with light snoring that takes like five minutes to shake him awake.

But unfortunately you're gonna have to coax him into not eating too much, because he's so used to eating so little that when he gets his hands on good food (whether you made it or you got it for him) the poor hog is gonna put himself in a food coma if you're not there to help him take it slow. You never know when and what your next meal will be when you're in literal hell on earth.

PLEASE keep a good hold on him and pray he does not let go if his ears catch word of anyone speaking I'll about your appearance, eating habits, weight or size, because he won't hold back.

He loves when you hold him. He takes visible pride in having such an amazing partner and he won't let you go anywhere without letting you know that.

He never tells you, but when he goes back to his time, he seeks to find your grave. So he has some semblance of knowing. It's why he does his best to make good of the time he spends with you.

He'll also never admit that he wants to immortalize you in your time so he can have you in his time. But he's worried about the repercussions.

If you feel up his chest fur he will melt into a puddle. Touch his long quills, his back spines, his muzzle, his hands, anything! Just as long as he can feel you make contact with him.

•You piss him off, let's get that out of the way, YOU ANNOY HIM ALMOST AS MUCH, IF NOT MORE THAN SONIC.

•You put whoopie cushions on his work chair, pull random items he asks for out of his quills, even pepper his muzzle in kisses, giggling when your nose honks against his cheek, to which he simply grumbles.

•You're basically polar opposites in terms of themes and gimmicks, and he's aware of that, but he doesn't take kindly to others pointing it out. He starts puffing up his chest if Sonic mentions how his humor hasn't changed despite being in love with a clown.

•You annoy him, yes. But that doesn't mean he loves you any less. He enjoys the silly looking meals you make for him, decorated in their smiley-faced deliciousness. The little patterned pop-up notes you leave in his files for him as bookmarks, even the small glass vases of lavender on his work desk to help him focus on paperwork. Makes him crack a smile even you'd be proud of.

Amy with a Reader who's just as in love with her!!

Picture this, she's still got a huge crush on Sonic. But all this chasing and trying to get his attention can be so exhausting! So, she decides to focus on something else for a while so she can get through her heart throbbing burnout.

Making time for herself, trying out new clothes, doing some well needed quill treatment, even making some lovely treats for the bakery down the road to sell and everyone loves it!

Everyone, even you!

You always thought Miss Rose was just incredible; She's beautiful, her outfits and overall style were so pleasing to your eyes, she was so nice to everyone in town and she was so strong! Being the heart of the well known Freedom Fighters and wearing that name with pride. It made your heart thump and your brain melt just thinking about her.

But you were so nervous to go to the bakery since you found out she had been selling her pastries there! Pacing and panging at your anxious mind at the thought of her seeing you there.

But, with a brave look on your face and a determination that would leave your friends giggling, you walked into the bakery one day.

The baked goods were just as beautiful as her. So much attention to detail, so many familiar fruits that went well with the colored creams, it would have been so hectic for you to decide on your own had a kind lady at your side not pointed to one that looked just right.

"Oh, why not that cupcake right there..? I think it goes well with your eyes!"

Your thank her without looking, grabbing your wallet to purchase it as your mind finally came up to speed, that brave look on your face vanishing as you noticed the golden bracelet on the woman's hand. And your eyes travel up the arm to meet soft green eyes and sweet smile that made your heart do cartwheels. Her beautiful dress that complimented her curled in quills, her hair band having a strawberry patterned bow on it, even her apron was cake themed, completing her simple yet sweet look.

She smiled at your dumbfounded state, finding your bashfulness rather amusing.

"I hope I didn't frighten you! Here, let me help you out."

She says cheerily, stepping behind the counter and carefully placing the cupcake in a big enough box, wrapping it in a little blue bow and placing it in your hands, the warmth of her gloved hand bring you back to your senses.

She smiled at you. Talked to you so nicely, even picked out a treat for you when she noticed you were stumped. Oh god did you see you gawking? Oh oh god oh no

You panicked, quickly thanking her with a stammer in your voice and putting the money on the counter before scampering off with the dessert in hand without waiting for the change.
