How would rewrite deal with a reader with (borderline) bpd/and mood disorder? Sorry if this seems too legit! I just struggle with it and I wanted to know how he’d react! Totally not forced and I understand if it’s something you might not wanna do! :3

* Your relationship with Rewrite will be a chaotic one. There will be a lot of ups and downs as both of you have your own issues and insecurities, and they will likely make you upset fairly often. However, they will attempt to avoid seriously upsetting you... Though, they're not the most sympathetic, so they will likely accidentally upset you anyways.
* Rewrite notices when you abruptly pull away from them and split on them. Even if you're the quiet variant, they notice the change in behavior and get confused.
-> When it first happens, Rewrite actually gets upset. Why are you suddenly treating them differently? Why are you avoiding them? Rewrite themself isn't exactly mentally stable either. Their own mind will take your behavior and blow it out of proportion. They'll become infinitely more clingy and affectionate to try to "win" you back... Which, if you're splitting, the smothering will likely just anger you further.
-> After this event, you apologize to them and explain to them what was going on. Rewrite does actually seem to understand, a little. If you explain your experiences to them...
↳ "Like your soul is splitting itself apart?" Rewrite asks you after a moment of silence.
"Yeah... Yeah, I guess so." You agree, slightly surprised Rewrite seems to get it. You briefly consider your next words. "Do you... Experience something similar?"
Rewrite stares at you for a second. "ある意味でね。" They respond, tone distant and flat... You furrow your brows, not understanding what they're saying. "Not like you."
-> Once Rewrite understands what it is and what it means for the both of you, they actually don't mind you splitting on them anymore. In fact, their patience and tolerance skyrockets. (When you first split, Rewrite thought they made a mistake and ruined your two's relationship. They didn't understand why you were acting so strange. They didn't realize humans could do things like this and have issues like this. But now that they know, they understand and are no longer distraught by it.)
* Rewrite will reassure you at every opportunity they get. They will remind you that they will never leave you, that they need you, that they love you. You're looking particularly upset today? "Did you know that I love you?" They'll say. They will repeat themself however many times it takes, it doesn't bother them.
* Rewrite will be able to notice the subtle signs that you're splitting. As unsettling as it would be, especially if you're the kind to hide it, they would know when to leave you alone or reassure you when you need it... Though they do struggle with giving you space, that is something they will do if they need to. They might even be able to notice you're starting to split before you do, and might do something silly, affectionate, or confusing to try to get you out of it.
-> As you feel yourself starting to get frustrated, Rewrite abruptly holds their hand out. You glance down at it and see them presenting... A mouse. For some reason. It's brown and freckled, and has a weird whipped cream topping on its back. It looks like a little dessert.
Your eyes narrow and you look up at Rewrite, silently questioning whatever it is they're doing. "A gift for you! Cupcake mouse!" They exclaim cheerfully.
* Yes, Rewrite would be ecstatic if they found out they were your favorite person.
