mmm the movie was based on it - it has the same name and its by Isaac Marion. i havent watched the movie yet so i cant compare it to the book but THE BOOK IS FANTASTIC

What is your earliest memory?
Well it's sort of embarrassing when I look back on it, but the earliest thing I could remember is when I was like two or something and we went to the beach. Now, I love the beach, but this was a week or so after nearly drowning (according to my mum anyway) and I didn't want to go in the water so I ran off and hid behind an American lady who was vacationing and held on to her just because I didn't want to go in the water.
Do you believe in the afterlife?
I don't really know. In my religion we believe in rebirth (your karma) so part of believes in that but another part of me believes that when we die we go somewhere else. I don't know. I'M CONFLICTED.
