Raining // Tyler & Soyeon

yes, it doesn’t take her too much time to realize what she had actually done and th realization causes her to jerk away from the stranger, but once the raindrops start heavily attacking her, she shamelessly pulls back underneath the cover provided by the stranger. she flashes a somewhat awkward smile and nods her head a little as a curt, apologetic bow. “i’m sorry!” she murmurs, “i didn’t mean to be rude it’s just… it’s raining so heavily and i didn’t bring an umbrella… and there literally isn’t any other cover other than your umbrella so i took the chance.” she bites down on her lower lip, stealing a glance at him. “but i’m leaving right away! please just allow me to stay here for a few more seconds…”

He gave her the glance over and then shrugged his shoulders, because it wouldn't feel right, pushing her away and out into the rain. What would his mouther say? So he did nothing but wrapped an arm around the girls shoulder and pulled her closer into his side and held the umbrella over them more, as the rain started to come down heavy and fast. "I'm Tyler." He offered, almost shouting over the rain. "We should go somewhere warm-" He was cut off by some thunder and didn't wait for her to speak, he knew a restaurant was close so he headed over the place, walking quickly and pulling her up with him.

even when it already happens, she still can't believe it. how did this happen? why did it start raining all of a sudden when the weather forecast precisely said today'd be a dry day? soyeon shakes her head in disbelief, eyes scanning the area for a shelter or anything that would help her take cover -- but there are literally no places with a roof nearby. so when she notices someone (a man, presumably) with an umbrella, she doesn't care and simply runs to approach him and hide under the umbrella.

Running errands like a normal person, he was glad he was forced to check the weather to see that it might rain, so he threw an umbrella in the back of his car and kept going. Had had been walking down a strip after a day of shopping when the down pour started, thankfully he brought the umbrella out of his car and and carried it with him. So he was dry for the most part, even though there was a slight wind. The only real surprising part of the day was when a girl had run up under, him - to get away from the rain he guess- still, he was shocked to think that he would do that to a total stranger. But he didn’t kick her out right away and just looked down. “Hello?”

there are a lot of things soyeon enjoys doing; homework isn't part of that virtual list. thus it's no wonder that albeit having been out on the streets for almost an hour now, she still barely asked anyone to answer her questions for this survey project. taking a quick glance at her paper (and looking away immediately seeing the obvious lack of material she's gathered so far), she takes a deep breath, eyes spotting a guy passing by. /you can do it, soyeon./ "hi! can i bother you for a second?"

he's hurrying back to the kt building for lunch break would soon be over, mile-long legs taking him quickly -- when he is stopped by a girl. her question makes him blink, confused for a second, but that's when he notices the paper in her hands and oh. it wasn't difficult to guess this had something to do with school or perhaps university, and being fresh out of high school, chanyeol has some (more like a lot of) sympathy for her. "sure, no problem." he flashes one of his big friendly smiles, figuring there was no problem in losing a few minutes with her; kt was only a few steps away anyway.
