I have already said this but let me say this again - in this manga when someone says he doesnt remember something it doesnt mean it didnt happen, just that he doesnt want to remember it. Another thing I dont buy all this reassurence about Zura being Yoshida pupil. First of all we still did not get any flashbacks or just talking between those two. Second if you reread certain moments you should notice that Sorachi never places bubles with words about Yoshida Shouyou near Zura. Its a bit like Sorachi himself reject idea of Katsura being Yoshida disciple

And here WTF of chapter. It kind of remind of historical Kiheitai I suppose. It looks like Hijikata returned to his homeland which is bittersweet though I dont get how is this demotion. Someone pointed that Shinpachi acts like the one who went in space is him since he looked surprised about almost everything.

NO COMMENTS. Well maybe some. Kogoro never was prime minister ( though for short amount of time he was formally chef of police as I understood) but there was Katsura Taro so Sorachi might just mixed those two. The suit looks pretty historic though Hitler like moustache not. Also the whole thing about Zura disposing of shinsengumi does not looks inpossible has not he been the one who actually started the whole Kondo saving operation. Of course there is use-now-throw away-latter thing but this seems unlikely to me. So I suppose you can get why I am more or less sure gorills is trolling.
P.S. Looks like some people are already whining about that if this is joke it is going for too long. Well, excuse me, my dears, but I am in this state for more than one and half a year.
