Enjoy these tasty dark soy pork spare ribs that have been grilled to perfection. It tastes rich and savory with a touch of sweetness from the marinade. Great for a barbecue or a time to grill with friends and family.
Ingredients: 2 lbs pork spare ribs. 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce. 1 tablespoon light soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, grated. 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 green onions, chopped for garnish. Sesame seeds for garnish.
Instructions: Dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, brown sugar, ground ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Put the pork spare ribs in a big bag with a zipper top and pour the marinade over them. Put the ribs in the bag, close it, and rub the marinade into them. Put the mixture in the fridge for at least two hours, or better yet, overnight for the best results. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Take the ribs out of the marinade and let the extra run off. The ribs should be grilled for 20 to 25 minutes, turning them over every so often, or until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C. Take them off the grill when they're done and let them rest for a while. Before serving, sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top. As a side dish, serve the dark soy pork spare ribs with your favorite foods.
