⟡ . as soon as you move to metropolis lois is constantly giving your pointers; she tells you the quickest routes, what time traffic is the worst, and landmarks for if you ever do get lost. She takes you on a best and worst tour of all the food trucks in the area. She introduces you to the folks that know her at her favorite coffee shop and makes you take a silly tour of the city that all the tourists do.

she jokes that by the time she’s done you’ll practically be a native metropolis citizen.

⟡ . she insists you stay with her because she gets so caught up in work she sometimes forgets what it’s like to just hangout and she finds it comes so easily with you.

⟡ . late nights where she’ll wander into your room — often forgetting to knock — and talk out loud about a story she’s working on and leads she’s chasing. at first you’re scared to cut her off or make her lose her train of thought but she likes to hear your perspective and if you don’t reply at all she’ll just look at you all exasperated and go ‘well?! what do you think?’

⟡ . lois isn’t messy per se but there is a cozy layer of clutter over every surface, her space is very lived in. she knows where everything is sorta but she’s definitely had to ask you for help while you search her place top to bottom for something.

⟡ . sort of ironically she stress cleans except she flits from one thing to the next so she really just ends up making things more messy than they were. she also stress fixes so she’ll impulsively try to fix the leaky faucet in the bathroom instead of calling a plumber.

⟡ . lois has the worst tendency to blare music to match her mood and when you move in she tries to remedy that by getting noise canceling headphones but that just creates another problem of having to shout for her attention either way.

⟡ . she has so so so many silly journalist / reporter t-shirts, stickers, mugs etc. and she gets so smug whenever one of them makes you laugh because you always insist they’re corny.

⟡ . movie nights! lois loves a good movie night more than anything. she’ll bribe you with your favorite snack and even let you pick the movie as long as you pile on the couch with her. she secretly loves a lot of old black and white films but she’s already sort of a book nerd so she thinks it’s too on the nose. her go to on a movie night is always a good 90s/00s action movie.

to all members of the slut committee (which i declare myself the proud chairwoman of): the smut posts will continue in due time. tonight i felt the need to update the blog (and thereby remind everyone of my remaining alive and well) with more tame matters as i am simply too exhausted and not in the mood enough to feed you anything overly debaucherous, and i don’t want to disappoint anyone with half-hearted posts as i know many of you have a high standard for my uploads (i do, too).

however, to give you something to look forward to: i have myriads of wonderfully obscene and intriguing ideas idling about in my inbox right now, which i am excited to develop and post over the following weeks. plus, today i was struck by a new fic idea, which i hope to bring to fruition in the nearest future as well ;)

Do you know why M2 (mello/matt) isn’t popular anymore? They used to be bigger than lawlight. But now there’s barely any content

Don’t have an answer for ya I’m afraid, other than L and Light just being more well-developed characters in adaptations and the original work. Also I have to say, babe, matt/mello was always big but its /never/ been bigger than lawlight. DN doesn’t exist without those blorbos while the M&Ms being gone still leaves the stronghold of sweet Near to continue the good lord’s work. L and Light in terms of sheer content eat Matt and Mello for breakfast lunch and dinner.
