Last Run for the 1744 by James Belmont Via Flickr: Southern Pacific 2-6-0 No. 1744 pulls the 'Santa Claus Express' into Heber City, Utah on Dec. 3, 1989. It was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the SP in Nov. 1901. The 1744 was sold to the Tarantula Corporation and shipped to Fort Worth, Texas in 1990.
