Probably an unpopular opinion, since I've seen even people who don't ship them say they were cute at first, but I never liked Heiman, not even in the beginning. Not because of things like *X Cartman ship better* or *Please make Heidi a lesbian*, but because ever since the first episode where they were a couple I thought they were an obvious parody of those kind of overly cheesy and clingy couples who promise each other eternal love in front of the whole world only to fall apart as quickly as they get over the honeymoon stage and have to face the slightest conflict. No hate to Heiman stans though, this is just how I perceived them as a couple.

The very reason why people possibly don't enjoy ships with Cartman is because he's essentially an evil character with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He's the very reason any ship with him is toxic, even canon ones, literally look at Heiman! Cartman is the very reason why Heidi began to live the "Victim" life, where she constantly victimises herself in favor of her selfish and self fulfillment desires. As Heidi said, he controlled her and manipulated her, constantly playing the victim to the point of threatening to kill himself (if your partner or anyone close to you does that, don't hesitate to break ties with them and run.). This might be the way Cartman would be in every relationship (regardless of who you ship him with. Though, his relationship with Heidi did start from a good point before turning into what it has become at the very end ). So, in conclusion, the very reason people don't like ships with Cartman (Kyman as an example) is because they're very toxic because of Cartman himself. And that's completely okay if people don't ship him with anyone, as long as they don't disrespect shippers.

Edit: I forgot about the post-covid episodes . he does become better as a person in them? I haven't watched the episodes themselves so this is a reminder for me to watch them and to get to know Cartman better as a character
