People need to remember is that MelbSPA isn't some proper organisation. It's a fb group, run by people in their free time amongst work/ uni because they enjoy it, for people wanting to meet other Homestuck readers. It's not the sort of thing that has venues, Promstuck was an exception and it took a lot of work so people should be happy they got something as great as that and stop asking for more. Similar groups like MelCosPho have less meetups & park meetups too. Venues just arent realistic.

I agree that admins need to be better well known, and more active even though I know everyone does their bit in the admin group but they need to show leadership outside of it as well. And wow I /didn't/ know some admins hadn't even joined Mutterings? I think all admins should definitely be part of Mutterings because how else are they expected to run MelbSPA and know whats best for it if they aren't in it (since most of the member discussion happens in mutterings).
