I did the math on using balloons to lift rockets up out of the atmosphere before take-off and like, correct me if I'm wrong, but it would take like two hindednburgs to lift a Saturn V (okay I just looked it up and the hindrance was only 41 meters across so maybe like 4-6 of them actually). But no, like, it would take a sphere with a radius of like 80m to lift the entire Saturn V??? "oh yeah but try not to ignite it with a rocket launching next to it" I dont care, I think it's inevitable they're gonna go up, but would it be cheaper than launching from sea level?? Whimsical, sure, but wouldn't it actually be practical??
Space Balloons
playing with space balloons and watercolors --- where will these little worlds take him, I wonder?
WORLD VIEW BALLOON CAPSULE Space, the final frontier. Sorry, had to. It’s an age-old fascination - to travel to the outer reaches of the infinite void that is space.
If You Want a Mustache... Space Balloons
Two of my band-mates, Mike and Sophia, are working on a mysterious project involving children's music. Over the last day or so, the band Space Balloons was born, as was this lovely song about the proper care of mustaches, something every child should know.
I have received exclusive inside information regarding an upcoming song - about grapes!
