7. my muse in nothing but a towel

August jumped in surprise as he stepped out of the bathroom, skin still wet from his shower, and found the little guardian waiting for him in his room. He blinked, reaching for his glasses just to make sure it really was him—and practically beamed when he confirmed it.

"Heyyy—" He grinned, towel sliding lower down his hips as he crossed his arms, "Comin’ back for round two??"

"Mmmmmm," August lets out a sleepy mumble and stumbles to the door, blinks blearily in the light, and picks up Jay under one arm. He shuffles back to bed and flops back on the mattress--visitor and all--before nuzzling his face into their neck. What a lovely pillow.

Pros:

there’s always something satisfying about pulling off a uniform

his hair is a really pretty color. Must be nice to run fingers through.

will tuck you under his chin while spooning

does that determination to get the job done carry into the bedroom. Does he get pushy? Sometimes pushy is nice.

Cons:

maybe small blanket wars in the middle of the night about how much blanket is too much blanket

excessively energetic early morning wake up calls from the pooch
