Happy Halloween!

I've been absent from Auroris. A lot of things are happening in my life right now - I can't even draw right now - but I think of you guys and your characters often. I hope this blows over soon. I digress, have a wonderful Halloween, eat lots of candy, and take care of yourselves. 

I wanted to draw all of the mod characters in costumes, but because I can't right now, please imagine: Esta as a cute witch, Roy as a severe and dour vampire, Kieran as a silly Frankenstein monster, and Nic as a pumpkin.

i am giving roy a much needed outfit change and i am taking suggestions. if u give me joke suggestions i will push u all into the ventilating fan, thats 100 meters to contemplate my wrath FASHION IS SERIOUS (ok im joking, silly suggestions are appreciated)

vermillion: a bright orange-red; the last breath of sunlight

verdigris: the green that forms on oxidized copper; sea foam and salt

titian: a brownish-orange hue; the first fallen leaves

puce: a dark red or purple color; the darkest resin

cattleya: flame-red; the smell of smoke and the heat of the fire

smalt: a chalky blue, made from mixing glass and cobalt; the ocean seen through mist

))Started on a little music thingy for the audition round. Decided to take a break from my event comic and finish it as best as my waning motivation would allow :’D

Tried to implement elements from the round into the actual music. Not sure how well I did that. Music isn’t my strongest subject, but I do love it.))

I'm a fan of our darling professor, and a fan of yours too! Before Auroris I hadn't seen you're art - but now that I have I wished I saw it sooner! I felt like she knew me more intimately than anyone else. I felt like she could tell me anything and I would probably believe it, the idiot I was. And I suppose I - I felt like I could marry her one day, and share the rest of my life with her.

On Hateful Anons

It’s hard for me to express how it makes me to see perfectly nice, reasonable people in our community get hated on by cowards. It’s like a bunch of strangers barging into our house party and pissing all over the furniture. I’d gladly pay some premium tumblr fee if it meant I could ban them on the spot - but I can’t. 

What I can do, is get (rightfully) angry at the anon hate, maybe share it with a few friends to laugh about, and then make like Elsa and let it go. 

When you dwell on hate, the anon wins. When you let it fester, and eat at your confidence, the anon wins. When our community fills up with anger from the recipients and their friends, and our whole dash sours, that smug little asshole anon wins. 

Everyone knows that the anon function is meant for shy people and impressively dirty TMI Tuesday asks. If it’s being used to hurt you, consider turning off anon asks or noting us - we’re open to trying our method of unmasking them.
