so we're studying the planets in my astronomy 101 class, and I just think it's so interesting that part of the reason why Jupiter's Great Red Spot storm system has been brewing for centuries is because it has no surface.

@accidentalharrie I just looked it up and WOW. I was at the planetarium a few months ago and saw a film on Jupiter, and the Juno mission. I love the whole story behind the name given to the satellite.
If you think space isn’t mind boggling you need to sit the fuck down and learn about it because space is fucking CRAZY
