I don’t know if it’s just my corner of the internet but the inner child in me who went through her multi-year-long space phase has been completely healed by the Artemis II stuff and all the Project Hail Mary stuff going around.

it’s just made me so happy recently to be seeing and interacting with all these people getting equally excited about space things as I am. Like little 8 year old me would be jumping for joy gushing about this if she could see me now. It’s lowkey making me feel old. Like that was a massive part of my life and my entire personality for a good chunk of time… It’s making me really nostalgic of my ‘I’m gonna be an astronaut and go to space era’🥹🥺
