When Samsung announced the Space Monitor, it was immediately understood that it was planning to keep personal computer users in mind. Now everyone may realize that personal computer users may have been looking for such monitors for so long. Samsung releases with a smart new modern design, streamlined & solid 27-inch QHD Space Monitor and 32-inch Minimal UHD 4K Space Monitor. So let's take a look at a short review about Samsung Space Monitor.
I've long believed that the footprint of a desktop computer is more important. It's why I wished Apple might consider something like the vertical AirPort base stations for the Mac mini, and one aspect I prefer about the original mini over the current ones. Apple should work on that dimension, rather than minimising the edges of the iMac.
So I'm liking this Space Monitor from Samsung. But I did notice: that's a desk with ridiculous depth they're using in this video. I'm not sure most desks at homes and offices are even half as deep as this. It's practically a small dining table.
I get that it's advertising, but that seems like it's exaggerating the benefits a tad. Who sits a metre away while using a 27″ display?
Dear RazörFist, I have noticed in some of your videos that you are still using a crt monitor, no lcd in plain sight. Do you prefer crt technolgy over lcd? Crt has 0 motion blur and scales resolutions much better than lcd, both big advantages for gaming. I would like to hear your opinions on this matter seeing as you recommend many older pc titles that were intended to be played on 4:3 crt displays. James
I own both, actually. My LCD monitor blew its capacitor, though, so while it still technically works, it’s just less of a fuckin’ headache to use the CRT.
I don’t have any particular preference. Although I do like how much less radiation the LCDs put out. My CRT is like a motherfucking oven. But at least it hasn’t given me a brain tumorzxhkhsgdkjsdgkajsgdjhsdasdpurplesunshinespacetweezers. So there’s that.
