The last photos I took of the Space Sampler were seven years ago... a lot has happened since 2016, but my first pattern still holds a special place in my heart :)

Continuing through old patterns and found a couple cut Space Sampler squares! My very first proper pattern 🥰
By my memory, all of these got cut because I ran out of room/felt that there were already other squares with similar enough concepts, but straight up, I should’ve found a way to keep Voyager in there.
Heads up! A kind and wonderful soul let me know today that I mislabeled the blue color in the space sampler’s shuttle square-- it’s supposed to be DMC 798, not 824, which is what the (original) pattern says.
If you’ve purchased the pattern before today, please check your email to get the corrected version of the pattern-- and if you can’t access it, let me know, and I will get it to you some other way.
I’m very sorry to have let this slip by, and very infinitely grateful to have had my mistake pointed out to me-- I’d thought I’d checked for everything, but this one slipped through. :(
I’ve got the pattern for my Space Sampler up on Etsy! It’s a two-file pdf download, each with full-color, b&w symbol, and half-and-half patterns; one file is designed for printing out, and the other is designed for digital viewing, and I’m really very proud of it all. :)
The Link, if you’re interested! (actually that is a link even if you are not interested)
Space Sampler, square 16/16-- and they’re all done! Pictures of the full project will be coming next :)

Space Sampler, square 10/16.
When I was about eight or nine my family moved from a city in Ohio out to a farmhouse in Wyoming, and I remember going outside at night and feeling like the whole world was filled up with the sky and the stars. My Mom taught me how to find a few constellations, and I made a game of finding the Big Dipper whenever I went out at night-- I would imagine I was a sailor lost at sea, and had to use the stars to find my way home.
