Volcano

Look! An epic molten space volcano!

I started painting this as a background for the video game I'm working on (Dominus Galaxia: dominusgalaxia.com/ ) but I didn't break it up into different layers and it was going to be way too bright so I figured I'd submit it as a personal work. I was pretty impressed with the feel of it.

The lighting was intended to be caused by the clusters of orange stars around the nebula, rather than a single bright light source.

It was all painted on one layer from the beginning.
