oh hi welcome! i dont really post a lot of OC’s on my blog, mainly bc im just getting back in to making them =w=

I have a bunch from the past that I love n cherish, like Eden Aiello- a forest dryad & teacher! Or Sundance, an immortal cursed by the Fae Queen to live his life in solitude~

Right now, I’m working on some OC’s for an RP group that a friend of mine is starting up- we actually first met in an RP group like 4 years ago! I’ve got some ideas bouncing in my head, but I think I’m gonna go with Grahame! (Who I am Contemplating making trans but I’m not a trans woman & I don’t know how to go about respectfully writing trans women, I can only really write & speak from my own trans experience which is very different! so if anyone has resources about respectfully writing trans characters, specifically trans women hmu!) She’s a human woman whos family was cursed/blessed (depends on who u ask) by the Fae generations ago who has the ability to heal plants and do minor heals on other living creatures like animals and humans! She’s really tall and strong and lives in a lighthouse and owns a tea shop~ here r some fun lil sketches I did of Grahame

Dinomas with a Friend

A Dinomas Secret Santa story for @space-unicron

The midday sun shone down harshly on the riverbank. Not a creature could be seen in the desolate landscape, save one. There, lounging by the river, was a massive dinosaur. Despite the heat, he wore a long, green scarf around his neck and a red hat with a pom-pom on the end. His massive sail wiggled back and forth in the sun as he waited patiently. It was, after all, Snap the Spinosaurus’s favorite day: Dinomas! Snap didn’t have a family of his own yet, he was still looking for the right sail-back to settle down with, so he always spent Dinomas with his best friend. They alternated going to each other’s homes each year. This year, Snap’s friend would be coming to visit him. Either way, it was quite a trek and he began to worry about his friend’s safe journey. Just then, over a far-off dune, Snap spotted a large dinosaur making its way towards him. His muscles tensed. Was it one of his more land-based rivals, encroaching on his river territory due to hunger? No, this dinosaur’s head was much too big for that. It was a head he’d recognize anywhere. “Thomas!” he called out. “Snap!” the dinosaur roared back, then broke into a sprint. Thomas rapidly came into view, revealing the distinctive tiny arms, massive head, and feathery body of a Tyrannosaurus rex. He too wore a red hat, but his scarf was blue and covered with a snowflake design. He carried a sack made of leaves on his back that bounced as he ran. Snap couldn’t help but smell something delicious inside. “Is…is it safe?” asked Thomas, setting down his bag a safe distance away, then inching towards the river. “The crocs don’t come here much, even less when I’m around,” said Snap happily. “Enjoy your swim.” “Thanks,” replied Thomas, before jumping in with a splash. “It’s way too hot here. I like it better when we do this at my place.” “But your place is so noisy. The raptors alone keep me up all night,” Snap teased. “You get used to it,” said Thomas as he swam around. Eventually he’d had enough time in the river and walked out, shaking the water from his feathers in a way resembling animals that wouldn’t appear for millions of years. “I think you forgot to take your scarf off, my friend,” Snap laughed as Thomas’s drenched scarf dripped all over the sand. Thomas just laughed and went over to his bag. Snap wasn’t sure how he managed to pack it as he watched his friend struggle to open it again. Eventually, though, Thomas managed to pull out a smaller bundle wrapped in a different sort of leaves. “Merry Dinomas, Snap!” beamed Thomas, “here’s your present!” “It smells wonderful! I think I know what it is,” said Snap as he used his big claws to rip open the leaves. “Salmon! Just as I thought. Thank you!” “You loved it so much the last time you visited,” Thomas replied, “I knew just what to get you.” Snap had his mouth full of fish and could not respond, but he gestured to a rock near his nest. Thomas went over and flipped it with his head, revealing a conical shape made of dried plant matter. It was clearly very sturdy, given its hiding place, and rather large. “It’s a hat!” explained Snap, swallowing some fish. Snap came over and helped Thomas get it on his head. “You always say the sun is too hot and your head gets cold in the winter,” Snap explained as Thomas looked at his reflection in the river. “This should help.” “It’s great,” smiled Thomas, “thank you so much.” The friends sat down in the sand and enjoyed their presents. Snap ate some more fish, then tucked the rest away for later, while Thomas tilted his head back and forth and felt the hat move, but thankfully not fall off. His festive hat looked nice for the season, but this hat would be much more useful the rest of the year. “Can you believe some people think we should be enemies?” said Snap. “I know,” nodded Thomas, “it’s ridiculous. We wouldn’t have even met if it weren’t for the big dinosaur convention, what reason would we have to hate each other?” “Not a clue,” laughed Snap. After some rest, the two got water from the river and made sand dinosaurs, which were like snow dinosaurs but made of wet sand. Thomas rolled the balls with his head and Snap shaped the finer details with his arms. With sticks for arms and palm fronds for sails, the two managed to make pretty decent approximations of themselves out of the sand. By now, it had gotten quite late. The stars were bright and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Snap and Thomas gathered around the sand dinosaurs and began to sing their favorite traditional Dinomas carols.

Deck the nest with palms and berries! Fa la la la roar, la la squawk cheep! Time for dinos to be merry! Fa la la la roar, la la squawk cheep! Preen we now our finest feathers! Fa la la la roar, la la squawk cheep! Let’s spend Dinomas together! Fa la la la roar, la la squawk cheep!

The two friends sang the night away, then fell asleep under the stars. They were filled with a delicious Dinomas dinner and the joy of the holidays. The next day, Thomas would leave Snap’s river for the creek he called home, thankful for the festive memories and the good friend with whom to share them.
