intro post!! 🎆
[pt: intro post!! (firework emoji) /end pt]
hi!! i've recently started configuring an aac app and making symbols for it, since i think it could be very useful to me, and i figured that it would be fun to post my stuff on here!
you can call me cameron, cam, or mod comet! i use he/they pronouns and will sign off with 🎇! my main is @star3synth :)
i have LSN level 1 autism, consider myself hyperverbal, and also experience verbal shutdowns, which is my main reason for wanting to start using aac. i am self-diagnosed adhd and i have some mental health conditions that i prefer to keep private.
general and request rules
[pt: general and request rules /end pt]
- topics i don't wish to be involved in: shipping discourse (any fandom), pro/anti ship discourse (from both sides. keep me out of it :) ), anything involving genAI/ chatGPT/ etc, anything nsft/ nsfw (personal ick, i'm too aroace for that lol), plural or lgbtq identity policing. for any of the above topics, i will give warnings but after two warnings you will be blocked.
- i am an adult, i'm cool with minors interacting but like keep that in mind :)
- blog is space themed because of a certain vocaloid song that i love (bonus points if you can guess it) and also because i'm a massive nerd about everything space-related lolol
- i make most of my symbols/ aac for me and every post i make is made by me unless said otherwise. feel free to edit, trace, or take inspiration from my stuff but please credit me and tag me if you use it on this site!!!!
- for the love of eveything on this planet don't upload anything i make to AI! if you do this and i catch you in the act i will block you instantly and i will not hesitate to report you for art/ content theft :)
- the "font" i use is just my handwriting lol. do with that whatever you want i guess. my handwriting kinda sucks lol but i will add alt text to everything and if you want additional clarity feel free to ask
- my art style is more simplistic and i will keep it that way, especially for the sake of clarity. if you want something more complex just ask, i can probably do it to an extent
- asks are always open unless i state otherwise :)
- anon requests/ asks are on but pls pls pls add an identifier (like an emoji or other signoff or tagging an account) so that you can recognize your own request!
- requests i will take: wordmojis, symbols, ocs, most character/ fandom related stuff (with a few exceptions), emojis/ emotes, userboxes, and i will include swears or profanity if requested as long as it's not excessive (<- up to my discretion, anything below literally having the vocabulary of an angry sailor is probably fine lol)
- requests i will not take: anything nsfw/nsft, anything related to harry potter or south park, major gore (minor gore/smaller amounts of blood are fine), depictions of ed/sh/ sui (can do medical terms/ wordmoji related to these conditions, BUT NOTHING VISUAL), mecha (skill issue i'm not good enough at art for that lmao), or gifs (yet another skill issue idk how to do that)
- things i will cw/tw tag: mentions/ images of bugs or insects, flash/ bright color/ eyestrain/ strobe warnings, mentions/ images of medical terminology, hospitals, or medical-related items, any mentions of discrimination (-isms, -phobias, etc) and hateful actions taken by the government or hate speech, mentions of ed/sh/ suicide or suicidal ideation (again, I WILL NOT show anything visual/ take any visual requests for these conditions because i don't want to trigger myself or others, but i am willing to do wordmoji of medical terms/ terms related to these conditions), mentions of psych wards/ mental hospitals, + any content you need them for, just ask me :)
