Tien jaar geleden vloog André Kuipers als tweede Nederlanders de ruimte in. Vanuit de basis Bajkonoer in Kazachstan vertrok Kuipers voor een verblijf van 193 dagen in het ISS station. Tijdens de terugkeer door de dampkring verkoolde de buitenkant van de Sojoez TMA-03M. In 2016 is de originele aangekocht en geplaatst in Space Expo, het Nederlandse ruimtemuseum. One of the most prominent items is this Sojoez TMA-03M space capsule. It was used during a 2011/2012 space mission.
