69 for Seren ;) ;) ;) but also 13, 14, 31, and 52
69. How would they describe their party members?
Ezra: ambitious, very confident, an exceptional fighter. Possibly dangerous -- they were worried for a while about the idea of him running Pleriane since he’d almost certainly merge it into Grivia somehow, and he doesn’t seem to care about collateral damage on his ambitions. Things seem to have gone okay though, and they know that the group very likely would have failed to save the world if not for him.
Henri: smart, cunning, creative. Always thinking three steps ahead of everyone else. They find it hard to fully trust him either, since for all they know he could be planning something they’d have no idea about until it’s too late. And they know he and Ezra are planning to make themselves immortal.
They’re the only two left by the end of the campaign. Basically, the party is very talented and competent, but Seren knows that if their plans contradict what Seren wants, there’s likely nothing to be done about it.
13. What do they dislike about themself? Why?
Although they’ve gotten past the ‘I ruined everything and broke fate’ stage of freaking out, they still blame themself somewhat for the destruction of their monastery. They’re doing everything they can to help rebuild and guide those who are left, but it still hurts, and if they hadn’t interfered it wouldn’t have happened in the first place.
14. What is something they love about themself?
They’re proud of their heritage and magic abilities, especially now that they’ve unlocked most of their potential, going further than most others with their bloodline ever could.
31. They’re given a blank piece of paper - what do they do with it?
Probably scribble down notes on whatever problem or research they’re thinking about, so they don’t forget later once they’re distracted by something else.
52. From whom do they seek validation?
Mainly two people, at this point.
- Syldan, who they respect and care about; they hope she thinks they made the right decisions regarding the monastery and the Dhu Kalin. They’re working with her now and they want her to have a good opinion of them.
- Saga, a survivor of their monastery who was originally one of the more experienced mages there. She’s the only one left who was part of the ‘inner circle’ of sorts and therefore the new leader by default -- apart from Seren, who’s now more powerful. Which is awkward. Plus, Seren’s terrified that she’ll hate them for what happened. There’s an adjustment, but she doesn’t blame them in the end, and she becomes the monastery’s new leader while Seren splits their time between there and the Dhu Kalin.
