2002, May 5 the first South-African cosmonaut Mark Shuttleworth returned from a 9 days 21 hours stay onboard the International Space Station. A software entrepreneur, Shuttleworth was the second Spaceflight participant to fly onboard the ISS but he conducted a series of scientific experiments. A member of Soyuz TM-34 crew, he returned together with Yuri GIdzenko and Italian Roberto Vittori. Mark Shuttleworth wore 4 watches, TBD rectangular, an Omega X-33, the NASA Actiwatch sleep-wake monitor and the manual winding Omega Speedmaster chronograph seen here dangling on long black velcro at his righthand wrist.
