The air was cool and crisp, a light breeze wafting through the leaves of trees. Small animals scurried through through the brush at this late hour, attending to their own business. Moonlight filtered through branches and onto the forest floor, for once the place didn’t look entirely intimidating. Paws crunched leaves underfoot, disturbing the silence of the forest as the being made her way through the undergrowth. Large ears twitched at the softest of sounds, she was far enough away from humans for them not to be a concern but she always had trouble letting her guard down. The lupyre slipped through the trees, moving further into the forest, she’d walked this path several times before. The full moon only made this easier, things were bright, and her amber eyes glimmered in the low light. It wasn’t long before she stepped out into a small clearing, green grass springing up beneath her paws. She spun around once in the center of the clearing before flopping back into the grass with a grunt. Stretching her arms up above her head, she yawned and stared up at the stars that glittered above her.
