About the Family:
Spacekid (Who now just goes by Armstrong) and Tabii started dating back in college, meeting again by chance at a party. Together, they Adopted their eldist, Houston, after having complications conceiving, but years later wound up having their youngest, Babel, thanks to science.
During the summer, Armstrong and Tabs send the kids over to their old camps (Troop #789 and Camp Campbell) while they’re busy at work, which can leave them out of the house for days at a time often.

Neil Armstrong Jr / Spacekid (Age 34):
Accomplishing his dream, Armstrong finally became an Astronaut. He and Tabs moved out to Washington DC to live close to NAPA /(NASA), where he often likes to work before missions.
Despite being a grown man, he’s still got that goofy childish charm he’s had since he was a kid, and wears a pair of light up shoes that remind him of an old friend he can’t quite remember the name of.
He sees a lot of his old friend in his Labrador, Jasper. He’s not sure why, though.
Tabiitha Armstrong (Age 36):
In highschool, Tabii found a new sense of fame through being an instagram influencer. Millions of people were inspired by her stories about camp, and her journey of learning to love herself, even when she has an “ugly eyepatch”
Over the summer, she goes on tour, mainly to sign her bestseller novel, make TV appearances, and to meet her many fans across the globe.
Houston Armstrong (Age 16):
When Houston was an infant, he was put up for adoption by his mother. She wasn’t in a great place to raise him, and his father (Gaylord Nurfington), wasn’t the best father figure avalible, so, without his knowledge of his existance, Houston was sent to an option center before he was adopted by Armstrong and Tabii.
He’s really into the paranormal, especially about space and Aliens. He constant carries around folders and folders of evidence of life outside of earth, and loves to analyze any pics or specimens his father brings back from Space.
Over the summers, he grew close to Gretchen, eventually staying around camp to work with her instead of taking an internship at NAPA so the two of them could hang out for another summer.
Babel Armstrong (Age 10):
Babel is the family’s “miracle child,” and was a little spoiled as a result. She isn’t too much of a brat, per se, but she often gets overwhelmed at home and feels like she’s got a lotta pressure on her when, really, all she wants to do is to bake treats and pet all the kitties she can get her hands on.
She’s got a bit of a crush on her best friend’s brother, Dillon. Nowhere nearly as clingy or creepy as Tabii was with her crush on Neil, but she does like to watch him from a distance rather than approach him upfront.
Jasper (Age ???)
Jasper is a rescue, some say he’s an old soul. He was brought to the shelter with mysterious bear claw marks on his chest among various other injuries he had on him.
Out of everyone he’s ever come across, he seems to warm up to Armstrong the most. Although, he was eager to come up to David when they were dropping the kids off at camp, but that man seems to have a way with dogs, huh?
