I like when news articles on how the world is ending and we're all gonna die and read to save yourself from total annihilation are behind a paywall within .2 seconds of clicking link but I can read about why humans don't have mating seasons for free. Because it's so much more important that it shouldn't be behind a paywall for me to know why I don't have the intense urge to fuck in specifically spring than how to save myself from total destruction

Today is weird. Not in an actual weird way, it's a positive weird.

It's my birthday, I'm 24 today, and today is the first time in a very, veryyyyy, long time that i've celebrated with anyone other than family.

My roommates got me stuff and hung out with me all day, their coworkers got me something and are showing up to the bonfire tonight, even my own coworkers are showing up. And it's odd, because I've never had a group that isn't my family. (I also hate the fact that money was spent on me but I am enjoying all the quality time)
