im reading It rn but the issue is that i have adhd so my brain keeps jumping between bill skarsgard and tim curry, and then with tim curry comes one of my favourite game grumps bits where they reference a character of his saying 'i must go to the one place untouched by capitalism............ SPACE!' which then triggers a vocal stim of me pissing off sibling with bursts of 'SPAISE' every so often

well this was certainly a rare pair! Still, it was fun. but idk if I made it work? You’l have to be the judge of that anon. (also, what’s the pairing name? Ice Spa? SpaIce?... either an ice cold spa or space???)I went with the theme ‘Dawn and Dusk’ for this pairing.

“Shouldn't it be darkby now?” Spain asked and stared up at the still light sky.“Notin summer,” Iceland replied with a shrug.“How do yousleep then?” Spain wondered, kicking at the sand and smilingplayfully.“How do you sleep in the middle of the day?”Iceland retorted.“Oh, good point,” Spain laughed. “It'sreally pretty.”“Well I deserve some perks since in winterit's almost permanently dark,” Iceland grimaced.“Thatdoes explain your pale hair and complexion!” Spain laughed andswung an arm over Iceland's shoulders.“Ha. Ha.. Ha...”Iceland frowned. “Very funny.”“I know. Prussia says thesame when I tell him the same joke,” Spain beamed.“You'rehopeless,” Iceland grumbled.

“OH!” Spain exclaimed andbrought them both to a stop. “Here!”“What about here?”Iceland looked around the empty beach in confusion.“We'llhave our picnic here.”“Uh... okay?” Iceland blinked.“Is this why you've been lugging that heavy rucksack around allday?”“Why else?” Spain laughed as he carefully placedthe backpack down, slowly unpacking it's contents.“You...you brought wine?” Iceland's eyes went wide as Spain pulled out notone but two bottles of wine.“Midnight sunshine and wine,that must be a good combination, right?”“Uh, sure?”Iceland scratched his head, watching in confusion and awe as Spainlay down a blanket for them.“Sit,” he commanded andIceland did as told – albeit a little hesitantly.“Here,finest wine from my home,” Spain said with a wink as he handedIceland a glass of wine.“You brought real glass?” Icelandlooked at the wine glass in his hand with slight horror.“Wedon't drink wine from plastic cups,” Spain snorted. “You can getcursed for that.”“Right...” Iceland muttered into hiswine glass; making a mental note to never invite Spain to any familydinner any time soon. Too often their Nordic parties ended up withall glasses broken and alcohol having to be drunk from coffee mugs orthe occasional bowl.“Do you like it?” Spain asked onceIceland had taken a sip, smiling wide and with anticipation atIceland's reply.“Yes,” Iceland replied, licking his lips.“Not often I have wine...” he added.

“For shame,” Spainlaughed. “Wine is best accompanied with gorgeous scenery.”“Willkeep that in mind,” Iceland smiled slightly and took another sip.“Hmm, should have brought white wine...” Spain muttered.“Would match your hair, sort of.”“Appreciate thethought,” Iceland rolled his eyes. “Red is fine. It's reallygood.”“Of course it's good!” Spain scoffed. “I don'tserve bad wine. Not when my reputation is at stake.”“ShouldI be honoured, or?” Iceland eyed the bottle on Spain's hand.“Agood host deserves good guests,” Spain smiled and held his ownglass up for a toast. “I'm simply trying to be a goodguest.”“Yeah... can't really complain,” Icelandmuttered, a little embarrassed. Spain was literal sunshine andwarmth, and Iceland didn't really know what to do with such a ray ofsunshine when he wasn't related to them.“That's good! I'dlove to come back in wintertime.” “You would?” Icelandsaid.“Yes. You look like you'd need some warmth andsunshine. Oh! Maybe you should spend winter with me?!” Spainbeamed.“I...I... I'll, uh, consider it,” Icelandstammered. “Great!” Spain laughed and clinked theirglasses together. “A toast to bright summers and dark wintersthen?”“Sure...” Iceland let a small smile slip, it washard not to feel good with good wine, midnight sun and a very happySpaniard beside him with the warmest hands he'd ever felt and themost amazing smile (and a great ass too, but Iceland had tried not tostare too much at that). “To Dawn and Dusk!” Spain saidhappily. “Or the lack of in this case.” he added with awink.“To us...” Iceland chimed in with softly, beforetaking a big gulp of wine. He'd need all the fake liquid courage hecould drink for this night, he just knew it.
