Is just happy in general
He spent a lot of his time being angry and bloodthirsty that now it is just nice to relax and live a happy life
That doesn’t mean he doesn’t miss his old pirate/empire days
His biggest regret is not helping Romano when he was younger
He thought Romano acted that way because that’s how Spain acted when he was younger as well, so he just assumed that Romano was taking his anger out on people because he was to young to take it out on the world
But now that Romano is still that way he knows he messed up
That’s why he’s so nice to Romano now
He takes culinary classes all over the world
Cooking is one of his favorite pass times
He also loves to garden because you can’t beat fresh ingredients
His favorite animals is the turtle (duh) because he loves how free they are and he finds it fascinating that when turtles are born on land and they find their way back to the ocean, like even when they are babies they know where they belong.
He sleeps because what else are you gonna do when you’ve been around for so long
Because of his age he is actually very wise and knows that there is a time and place for everything
