Charlie’s Cup seemed to have lost its luster since the pandemic years! When restrictions were lifted in 2021, Cebuanos flocked to Busay and #CharliesCup was one of those who enjoyed the sudden surge of customers. Back then you’ve be lucky to get a parking spot and a table! There was just too many people. Understandably, the wear and tear was very visible. The view is still nice — in fact, the greenery has become more lushed and the atmosphere more comfortable. Service was still okay but ”tired.” We ordered their popular #SpamFries. I was surprised to see it less full than I recall. Their carbonara was a disappointment. Anyway, the ambience more than compensated my observations.
